Souskluitjies
Souskluitjies desert with cinnamon
Ingredients
- 1x Egg
- 250 Ml Cake flour
- 100 Ml Milk
- 10 Ml Baking Powder
- 50 Ml butter
- Pinch of Salt
- 700 Ml water( for boiling)
Method
- Mix flour, 25 ml butter and Baking powder until fine crumbs.
- Mix the egg and milk together.
- Add milk mixture to flour and mix to a soft dough.
- Place spoons full in boiling water and cover pot with lid.
- DO NOT lift lid from pot during boiling process.
- Boil for 20 min and then remove from water.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and cover.
