Cauliflower fritters
Deep fried cauliflower in a thin batter.
Ingredients
- 1 box Chilly bite mix
- 1 Egg
- Water
- Cauliflower
- Oil for frying
Method
- Cook the cauliflower just until soft and set aside to cool.
- mix together the chilly bite mix, egg and water.
- Add just enough water to form a thin batter.
- Dip cauliflower in batter and deep fry until brown.
- This can also be made with the following variation;
- Mash the cooked cauliflower.
- Mix the mashed cauliflower with the batter.
- Scoop teaspoons full at a time and deep fry until brown.
- Serve hot as a variation of a veg.
- Note; the mashed cauliflower wil cancel the flavor of the chilly and is not strong at all.
