Choc mint caramel cake

Chocolate cake with caramel butter icing topped with peppermint chocolate

Ingredients

  •  3 Layers of chocolate cake (Recipe on web site under cakes)
  • Caramel icing (recipe on web site under icings )
  • 1 Peppermint crisp chocolate®

Method

  •  Sandwich the cake together using room temperature icing. Cover the top and the sides.
  • Using from the same caramel icing pipe a border around the cake.
  • Coarsely chop the chocolate  (refrigerate it to make it more brittle) and sprinkle onto cake in a thick layer
  •  Serve at room temperature
