Red lentil dahll
Ingredients
- 1 ½ Cup red lentils
- 1 Large onion
- 1 Bunch of fresh dhania
- 2 Teaspoons gushed garlic
- 3 Teaspoons BBQ spice
- 1 Teaspoon mild yellow curry
- 70 ml tomato paste
- Pinch of Salt
Method
- Fry the chopped onion until see through but not brown.
- Add the gushed garlic and the spice and fry until spice change color.
- Add the red lentils and immediately 6 cups of water.
- Cook the lentils until mash about 60 minutes.
- Add the tomato paste and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and add the chopped dhania leafs.
- Serve on a bed of jasmin rice .
